This will be far-off from a pleased reunion, as Hell’s Kitchen knows no anger like an killer scorned. The dark new direction of Daredevil continues!
Created by Charles Soule (as the Author) and Ron Garney (as the Illustrator), this comic book brings a perfect combination of people coming back to the Big Apple and bringing whit they a little of action!
In this story Elektra brings back the favorite crimson-clad ninja to punch up Daredevil, with the additional twist that she is also one of the people that have forgotten the true identity of Daredevil. The author handles this new interaction well between the two, introducing a recall loss plotline as well that trouble a lot for the future. One of the most relevant points of this comic is the great choreography of the fights.
In the other hand, this story also presents a team integrated by Daredevil and Spider-Man. Matt sets out to be successful a poker competition, in spite of the fact that he can not tell what his cards are since he is blind. But of course, his super senses make the tournament more interesting as he bluffs his competitor out of the game. It is a very ground-breaking use of the unique skill-set of Daredevil. Also the dialogue between Daredevil and Spidey is worth the price of entrance alone.
Then, Matt comes into a poker tournament? What is going here? And what does Spider-Man there? All this, bonus the come back of Echo!
